im in my teens and have had this issue for the last 5 years, my lips are dry, swollen irriated and bloody painful and i cant get rid of dry and chapped lips, i can quite happily illiminate STI's but im not sure what it could be.. i have been to my doctors once when it started and they send me away saying everything is fine and it isnt serious enough. but it is really knockin my self confidence, by bf doesnt want to come near me cuz he think it culd b contagious and half the kids in my school avoid me,, I WANT TO KNOW WAT IT IS,, please help :'(
