I realize most of these posts are old and I didn't read all of them, so I'm not sure if this has been suggested or not. I've suffered from what many of you have described off and on for over 30 years. One product that does work to soften them and draw the "gunk" out is called Smile's PRID Drawing Salve. It doesn't work every time for me, but it has a pretty good success rate. It's a very, very thick, black salve, can be found at most any drugstore or WalMart and is inexpensive. The directions for use say "Wash affected area with hot water, dry and apply PRID twice daily on clean bandage or gauze. Do not squeeze or pressure irritated skin area. After irritation subsides, repeat application once a day for several days." I usually smear it right on the bump and tape a piece of gauze over the top. The trick is to leave it alone and let it do the work. Give it a try - you've got nothing to lose but $5.00 or so!

I used to have reoccurring boils in my inner thigh region. I tried everything to get them to go away. Nothing worked! I even went to the doctor and took some pills for a month. This didn't help either. I was so ashamed of my condition. I knew I didn't have an std like all the websites tried telling me. After two or more years of having this condition I finally found a cure problem. I found the cure through a herbal medicine website. All you need is turmeric powder. You can find it in the spices in any grocery store. I made mask out of the turmeric and put it in my lower inner thigh region. This stuff stains really badly. This helped but it took to much work to put the mask on so I began taking turmeric capsules. Now I take two turmeric capsules a day and occasionally put on the mask. You can make the mask by mixing turmeric and water until it turns into a nice paste. Then you can put the paste on the boils. If it is an open wound it will sting. Turmeric is really good for boils and it really helped me. All my boils healed. None have returned. Turmeric helps so much because it is a natural blood purifier and anti-inflammatory. Also free-balling (wearing no panties) and cotton panties help. I nice for your lower region to get air. Also if your panties are too tight that can become a problem. I hope this helps! All of this is from my experience with reoccurring boils.
