Hello iam an 19 year old male, and i have started to get these painfull red sores that are puss filled in my genital region. I only get them one at a time. Most of the time they start as a little red bump, that is barely noticible then it swells up and becomes very painfull. They usually take a week or 2 to heal. then i have none for a while then they come back, but just one at a time... Im just wondering what this could be?

As long as they are red, painful and puss-filled, they are not dangerous just annoying.
There could be two options: inflamed sebaceous cyst of inflamed ingrown hair.
Genital area is a very good ground for bacteria and yeast because it is moist, as we sweat a lot and it is closed, so there is no ventilation. Bacteria and fungus on the skin just loooove that. Both sebaceous cysts (something like a pimple) may be infected by skin bacteria and so can an ingrown hair. Both tend to be very painful and red and swollen especially if you pick them. And it takes about two weeks for them to go away.
Do they always appear to be on one place and they appear on different location? According to this, you may want to speak to a dermatologist and see if there’s a way to get something, an antibiotic to use, so you would get rid of them sooner.
It is important that you maintain very good hygiene of this area and wash it every time it gets sweaty.
