I first thought that my husband's sis is paranoid but you know in this regular sense that we use when we want to describe that someone is mistrustful or exaggerate things and happenings. But lately I have notice that this paranoia situation has turned actually in something even worse for it happens very frequently she has these emotional and even nerve breakdowns so I think that actually she might be having real paranoia disease so I would like to hear some more info regarding this paranoia issue. Thanks!

Well if she acts described way than she really might be suffering from paranoia. Why don't you take her to some psychotherapist center just to see how serious this paranoia thing is in her case? Anyway whenever someone reacts that way with regular breakdowns it might easily be that she suffers from paranoia and by the way not all the people with paranoia have exactly the same symptoms but generally paranoia is manifested in unable to relax, they are offended easily and think that others always envoys them and are in general hard persons to deal with. Anyway if it turns out she suffers from paranoia than the best treatment I could advice is behavioral therapy –this helped my friend very much to realize that she is paranoiac and this is very important for someone who needs to fix this situation.
