I am a true boxing fan. I never miss any of the matches of my favorite boxers. Anyway, we all know, or should know, that one of the best boxers of all times is Cassius Clay, later know as Mohamed Ali (he changed his religion to Islam). I know that he is suffering from Parkinson's dementia, but to be honest, was never explained what that condition really is. Can anyone help me?
Parkinson's disease is a serious condition that has two aspects. One is Parkinson's dementia that has classic dementia symptoms (memory loss, attention loss...), and the other aspect consists of physical symptoms: rigor, slower movements, slower speech, unbalanced walking, etc. Yes. It is sad that one of the best sportsmen of all times and all sports ever, had to end up like this.
