My kid has been exposed to sun and now she has sun burns. She went to excursion with her school. They were on the beach and they haven't paid enough attention. When she got back home it was all over. Her back is now peeling. Is it dangerous? Can we do something to prevent it?

It is not dangerous. It is natural process and you can not stop it. The best is to let it heal by itself. She should not pick it because the young skin beneath it will only peel again, so she will not accomplish anything. She could try to use vinegar, yogurt if it still hurts and something that will help her moisturize skin.
