Period cramps but little blood?

I've been having period cramps, but little blood! My last period was on the 7th, and ended on the 13th or so (i did use NSAIDs to help lessen/stop blood flow and it worked). It's barely noticeable, just a small amount. But when I use the restroom, there are several fuzz-looking clot type things in the toilet. They are a dark brown. My cramps aren't bad bad, but they're there all right. Could it be just that my body is shedding some of the extra blood the NSAID stopped? My periods usually come 22-25 days after the END DATE of the blood flow. I have not had any sexual activity at all the past month, 2 or even 3 months. I have been kind of dehydrated (just got over the flu!). It does not cause any pain/irritation/discomfort when using the bathroom. I'm just really worried. My periods have never been really regular (yes, I have consulted a doctor on that! but they and I agreed as long as I manage a-okay it wouldn't be much of an issue and they'd even out soon and I'd be fine). But this has never happened! Advice, please?
