You wouldn't, really (know if you are pregnant, I mean). My mother had her period nearly the entire time she was pregnant with me and yet here I am. She was still having a rather heavy period in January and I was born in July. My grandma said she never suspected my mom was pregnant (she was 16) until she was bout 6 months because she knew she had been having periods. So yeah, it can happen, how I don't understand, though....
