I would first like to start off by saying that my computer skills are almost non-existent, so if I make some BIG mistake somewhere along the line here, I apologize. I am 26 years old and I too have the same "condition" which you wrote about on a particular health website. On October 27, 2005 I found out I was pregnant. I was terrified and exstatic at the same time and so was my boyfriend. One week after (to the exact day), I miscarried without any explanation. I was devastated. My menstral cycle has never been "normal", but oddly enough, one year after (on the exact date that I miscarried the year before) my miscarriage I got my period. It is now the 19th of January and I am still bleeding. There have been a few days here and there where it looked like it was going to taper off and stop, but the next day it was back again. There have been no usual symptoms that I usually get when I had a regular period like cramps, backache, etc. I have been to my doctor and he has referred me to a specialist (a gynecologist). I have yet to hear from the gynecologists office (it has been almost 2 months). I apologize if this message is too personal for you to read or if it offends you in any way, but I am terrified and confused at what this is. I am honestly just so relieved that there is someone wlse out ther who can sympathize with what I'm going through. It is very frustrating and I am finding myself being another person; a person who snaps at everyone around me whom I love because I am terrified that this is cancer or that I have lost my chance to start a family, which my boyfriend (future husband) and I want to start to do in the next 2 years. My doctor said that it could be a hormone imbalance (90% likely) because I am very overweight. If it is alright with you, I would like to discuss more about this and find out how everyone who has been afflicted with this can be helped. I hope I did this right and that this message reaches you. Thank you very much!
It is strange that I came across this posting considering I was searching for a cause of another medical concern. I have had the same thing for about 10 years now (constant vaginal bleeding). It started after I had my daughter and has been aggrevating. Instead of going on the pill I opted to have an I.U.D. placed since it lasts 10 years. The gyno has x-rayed and did her usual pap smear (no abnormalities) 2'xs. My PCP suggested I take Tylenol to help (bad advice). It didn't help and if you over use this kind of medicine it can damage other bodily organs. They did say some bleeding is considered normal when you have this device. Do you have something like this. It could be your problem. I will be having mine taken out this year and see what happens. I would suggest that you have your primary care run a few tests CBC and x-rays for starters and don't forget about second opinions. Good Luck and I hope everything works out...
Hi yes, from my experience, it's one or the other. You could have a baby and possibly inject yourself everyday with heparin in your legs, or don't have a baby and get the minera fitted, but unfortunately this takes a while to work(up to three months) and you have much less blood loss
