Well, after waiting for three weeks since my miscarriage for test results, I call the doctor's office. The testing that I requested for chromosomal abnormalities was not done, even though two doctors and a nurse assured me it would be.
The only test that was done by pathology was a test to reveal that the tissue was consistent with the products of conception! Wow. I wouldn't think it would take a medical degree to look at an embryonic sac and make such an earth shattering diagnosis. I'll bet they will bill my insurance company a healthy sum for that as well.
Has anyone out there ever had a doctor make a committment to perform specific tests such as chromosomal testing and then not follow through? Anyone have any advice?

only thing you can really do here is file a complaint and/or firmly (but not irrationally) ask them why and demand they dont' charge your insurance for the test they did run because that was NOT what you requested or APPROVED for. I wish I could help more- good luck
