I agree with everyone who says this sounds like hidradentitis suppurativa.

I have this condition as well. It is fairly mild but when it really flares up, it can be hard to walk. I've had to give up skirts for the most part.

I have had a little luck with incorporating aspects of an anti-inflammatory diet into what I eat. The #1 thing is I drink a little turmeric powder in water a couple times a day (maybe a tablespoon, max, don't wanna get an upset stomach). And I try to limit highly processed carbs and added sugar, as well as yeast. I definitely have chips or beer a couple times a week, but it's all about moderation and balance. Google "anti-inflammatory diet" for more suggestions. Grating a little ginger into tea is a mild little thing you can do to help inflammation too.

Also please remember that you are gorgeous and you are not broken. This is not an STI and it doesn't make you ugly. Virtually every person has some aspect(s) of their body they would change if they magically could. Capitalism is deeply invested in convincing us that we have "flaws" that we need to buy things to fix.

Remember that someone who is looking at you romantically and/or sexually sees something in you, that there's a spark and an excitement. It is about you as a person and they way you look overall. The flawed, human, physical reality of a naked person being there with you is exhilarating in a way that photoshopped daydreams can never be. Even if they've got a couple scars, or a band-aid or whatever. You're hot and you're awesome.

Hi as a mother myself you should tell your mom about your issue..telling your mother you are a lesbian is not the same as a medical condition sweetie. I have one brother and he is gay. When he first came out he didn't tell my mom that he was gay she cought him with two other guys....Yeah she was beyond mad.You should tell your mom about changes you are going threw. I have three daughters and if any of them were gay I would love them the same.maybe your mom was disappointed cause she was looking forward to you getting married and having kids but at the end of the day she carried you in her womb for nine long months and I'm positive she loves you very much.I don't know what state u are in but look for a planned parenthood clinic and they will see you and keep it confidential and you don't have to pay and no one finds out. But I think u should try telling your mom. Honesty is the best policy remember your mom has lived longer then you so she's more up on game then u think. Take care

What an excellent post! One thing I would like to add to it:

I have had Hidradentitis Supprativa for forty years. (Depressing thought, isn't it?) Mine mostly occurs on my breasts, but I've also had numerous outbreaks in my groin and armpits over the years. Despite my dermatologists' best efforts, I never went more than a month or two -- and usually less - without at least one painful cyst/boil somewhere.

Finally, exhausted from all those years of industrial-strength pain and desperate for some longer-term relief, I found some online posts written by people who claimed their outbreaks had lessened once they began taking turmeric. I was skeptical but figured what the heck? It might be worth a try. So I did a ton of research on turmeric itself and decided to experiment with 1,000 mg capsules that also contained 5 mg of bioperine black pepper extract (necessary for good absorption, according to some studies.) I started with one capsule a day but didn't get any major results until I began taking three a day. Once I reached that level, no more boils!!! I absolutely couldn't believe it.

That was six years ago. Since then, the only time I've had a recurrence was when I slacked off on the turmeric or when I temporarily switched to a laundry detergent containing Oxi Clean. (Not sure if the detergent thing was a coincidence or not, but I now use a detergent for sensitive skin just to be on the safe side.) I still sometimes get small red spots that look they could be the very beginning of a boil, but they never become painful or full-blown. They stick around for a few days and then disappear.

I'm not promising that turmeric would work for everyone. In fact, I'm completely amazed that it's working for me. If you decide to try it, my fingers are crossed for you. Do your own research, find a version with standardized extract and bioperine, and gradually build up your dose until you find the amount that's right for YOU.

i have found that neo-sporen pain relief has gotten rid of the pain and the pipmples or cysts have gone down and almost vanished but dont stop using it untill it is completely gone or else it will come back make sure to feal in that location of where the bumb is and to make sure you dont feal anything. Make sure not to use alot of the neo-sporen just a little dab in each locatin so in about a month or 2 it will or should be gone if not use acne medice with neo-sporen but speratly like when you take a shower use the acne medicne and when your going out put the neo-sporne on. I hope this help because this did help me alot

Keep your head up. I am 20 and suffer the same problem. I am lesbian myself, so don't let anyone judge you. Its hard coming out but stand up for you. These bumps are no fun, but they aren't STDs. I am going to school for nursing so I learn a lot about these things.

I'm 62 and female. Just got a crop of these ugly pustules in my armpit.  Started with one big one that kep filling up with puss and it hurt.  Then it started to spread till the point I had 3 big ones & about 8 more smaller ones, resembling pimples.  I washed with antibactereal soap , used peroxide & put triple antibiotic ointment on them.  Nothing helped.  Finally went to CVS - Minute Clinic and had the nurse look at them.  I'm now on oral antibiotics along with a prescription ointment to put on them.  After 2 days they are starting to clear up.  She asked if I'd had chicken pox (which I did, as a kid).  She said they are hereditary, although I've not had them before.  They are ugly & hurt.  I  now wish I had gone to CVS or my doctor sooner than 2 weeks, trying to treat them myself. Can't use deoderant or shave under that arm till they are all gone.

If you shave in the area, it's probably just razor burn, or ingrown hairs.

Hi,

It's called hidradenitis suppurativa. You can look it up online. It can only be controlled but not eradicated. Unfortunately, it starts right at puberty and could be a lifetime issue. Cutting down on fatty foods and using anti bacterial soaps can be helpful. It it gets severe, the derm might perform a surgery to cut it out. Otherwise, they can prescribe antibiotics like minucycline to keep it down. In my case, I cut down on dairy and went gluten free. I am almost clear off that problem but still have some eruptions every now and then.

You can still get HPV with condoms, so be careful. Also, are you sure it's not the pores your hairs come out of? Are they actual pimples?

I have also dealt with this for a long time now. I'm not very overweight, just have large breasts. I've had them lanced from in between my breasts, and my inner thigh. I went to my OBGYN and she told me to use Bikini Zone after I shave down by my inner thighs. I use it every time and I haven't had any more problems from that area. As for the other places, try wearing breathable clothes, taking Vitamin A, and keeping the areas clean with antibacterial soap. Good luck!
