Maybe it's a result of the LSD you've been abusing... NAHHHHHH! Couldn't be.

It will absolutely NOT disappear with age! If anything, it most likely increases with age, as do night leg ccramps. It stems from your nerves, so a dermatologist is the wrong specialist. See a neurologist, although there is not an easy fix, or a fix at all.

I had the pins and needles pain from head to toe for almost 5 years. Had various test done everything came back normal. Saw a neurologist had nerve conductivity test and emg test as well which was normal. I refused medication because I'm sure I started having this pain because of Ativan(lorasapam) for anxiety. I took half of the prescribe dosage before bed and the pain started immediately, kept me up all night and I wasn't able to sleep for 5 days. I threw the Ativan in the garbage. After seeing my dr and the neurologist the only thing they could offer me was pain medication. Which I refused I decided to do my own research and through that I discovered that B12 or SUPER B COMPLEX would help. Anyway I started taking a multivitamin and nature made super b complex. 3 hours apart the pain went away. If I forget to take the multivitamin or super b complex the pain comes back so I make sure I take both everyday at separate times and I have been pain free since I started taking it almost 2 years ago. So if you're suffering with pins and needles pain.............please try taking a multivitamin and B12 or SUPER B COMPLEX

How long do these sensations last minute last anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes then drain the night is usually when they happen sometimes during the day and I just shake my leg at night to take my mind off of it and it seems to go away but then it comes back it wakes me up again

I have also suffered from this for last 3-4 years. It disappeared in between to reappear and make me feel miserable. The reasons mentioned are plenty but the fact remains that most of the people do not find the cause after repeated tests. The existence itself is a torture.

Whatever may be the reason I feel homoeopathy has an answer to this problems . The medicine which matches the symptom has to be taken. It helps the symptoms to either reduce or alleviate to a large extent. They may disappear completely also. Now the detailed symptoms are aviable on internet for all homoeopathic drugs. AGARICUS MUS is one such medicine. It is avilable in any homoeopathic store. Please try. You might get relived of the nuisance. Other medicinces are also there. Please compare your symptoms.

GUD LUCK.

This seems like a good place to start.

Pins and needle also known as parasthesia, is also related to peripheral neuropathy, which i have.

I wonder if anyone have this:

In january after i took 1 diphenhydramine pill 25mg, and a fever reducer with acetomeniphen, dextromorphan, and phenhyleprine. I loss my sense of smell and taste(it never returned to normal), then i started getting tingling sensations all over my body.

Pins and needles started about few weeks later, along with twitching, myclonic jerks, and RLS.

also prickling, some burning, tickling, stinging sensations were present on mostly my left side, my right side also have the same issue but less extent.

at the same time i also realise vibration, and some sensation within abdominal cavity are absent.(hunger feeling etc).

This has been going on for 5 months, going on 6th with no recovery in site, the symptoms waxes and wane, and usually cycles around alot. i am taking 5000IU D3 vitamin a day, because of a deficiency.

i wonder if have b12 deficiency, i did a test with a welfare system, but i never get the results, because there is no automated system where i can just grab it online.?

I have pins and needles all over my body (mostly in limbs) too :( You should go to a GP and ask for blood test, GP will give you and go through your results with you. Have you been to a neurologist and done any neuro test yet? Seems like many things can cause parasthesia, just hoping mine is not a neuro prob.
