I have the exact same things,with fybromyalgia.it's a mixed bag how your going to feel each day.the pens and needle thing started in a random toe,then fingers now here and there in my body.very wierd.life is hard with this stuff,but once in a while you will have a day that you will feel alive again,and keep looking forward to those few days,and remember people need you around because they love us.because at times it can be very hard to want to keep going.your friend in sufferings. Ps I take lyrica,cymbalta,Norco at times.

I have almost all the same problems as you and have survived to the ripe old age of 70, so hang in there. Our pins and needles are little different than most on here. Get a great arthritis dr., as well as great neuro dr. Make sure they check you for Reynaud's disease too. Found out that at health food store , I buy the raw flax seed and chew at least a tsp. a day, Also, get your thyroid checked and if they do bloodwork check for celiac disease. I have all these and seems they go together. Can't be in sun this time of year more than 2 to 5 minutes, itching all other or pins pricks, but no rash. As youngster, it was more cold that bothered me, and legs would break out in rash in matter of minutes of going out and walking even bungled up,and would feel like on fire. Still to this day, for no reason, my knee will swell just even over night, and impossible to stand on, but no warmth or rash, dr puzzled. Within 2 days or so, it goes back down if I put Ace bandage round it. Hope some of this helps. My dr also recommends a tbs of hyaluronic acid a day, pricey stuff from health food store. Hope some of this helps. Leave any dr. who tells you, you are anxious, he is the one nuts.

I have degenerative disk disease. Titanium in my neck and low back. I get those pin picks all over all the time. I believe that it's degenerative spinal cord situation too. That makes more sense to me with my situation.

about 9 months ago i had a stroke and a brain hemorrhage. A few weeks before every time i would shower blow dry my hair really and type of heat would hit my skin it was like a million pins on fire were poking me mostly on hands and arms at times all over. Well then the brain hemorrage and stroke happened it was still happening just not so severe. I was trying so hard to get well that i didnt notice when it stop. but it stopped for a couple of months well its back. It comes and go more so comes then go. what is wrong with me i am a 50 year woman. i need to know

Did anyone get back to you on this? I see its from last year but I'm 35, havr fibro among other things and had back surgery and have just yesterday started getting this weird tingling/cold sensation in my arms and legs nd it's not going away. I hope you're feeling less down now?

Hi. I had the same symptoms when I was around 30 and went to a neurologist. He did a spinal tap, and I had a syndrome known as Guillain-Barre syndrome....better go get checked by a neurologist before you become completely paralyzed. Good luck and God Bless!
