My problem started about 5 years ago. I have always known that my skin was sensitive to the sun, because as a tennis player, every time I practice, my face gets red. The problem is my lips swelling for a reason that I'm not sure of. I woke up on November 25th, and my lips were swelled and they felt like they were burning. The next day, my chin was dry, as well as my lips. It was also itchy but of course I knew that scratching it would only make it worse so I didn't scratch it. It took a few days and a lot of chap stick for the drying on my lips to disappear. I'm also not sure if I'm allergic to products with "sun block" protection on it. Prior to the swelling lips, I tried a chap stick that contained SPF 15 and I'm thinking that it had to do with it. Another reason that I think I'm allergic to sunblock is because one time I was at the beach, I used a Banana Boat brand sun block and when I got home, I suddenly noticed a lot of redness all over my legs and around my lips. Can you help me by explaining what I have and how I can prevent this? Thank you.
It is highly unlikely that somebody can tell you what this is over the internet. What you need to do is have your skin examined by a dermatologist to determine what is causing these reactions. Maybe you are sensitive to these products but only a specialist can tell you that.
Haven’t you already visited a doctor considering you have had this problem for 5 years now? Maybe you suffer from sun sensitivity or something.
