JS again,
I just created a FB group called: Sleep-related painful erections: we are not orphaned anymore!
It's easy to find: just use the search box of FB and any of the key words of the group name.
Special thx to Keith who had the honnor to be the first guest :)
I will be adding some content gradually.
For now, i wish that most of you guys will join us.

While I appreciate your efforts to create a new forum for us I don't think Facebook is a good place for this issue. For one thing there are a lot of people like me that refuse to go there because of privacy concerns and recently Facebook has been kind of aggressive in purging anonymous accounts. I had one that they bricked last year and they refused to reactivate it until I provided my ID. No way.
I'm going to be leasing a server for another project and may set something up on that but in the mean time there are a lot of other forums on the internet for health issues in general that are probably better than this place and more friendly to our privacy needs than Facebook.

Same thoughts here. Have a pretty public facing job and I I don’t want the issue out in public ever. Wish people didn’t make judgements about sexually related Issues but they do. That plus they would make stupid comments like “ proof many night erections - that doesn’t sound like a problem!” I’m 100 percent in for a better private forum but Facebook isn’t it for me.

Mike, please keep us posted if you come up with any new forum or group.
Meanwhile, i'll keep the FB group alive.
So far, I believe the group have already been beneficial for the 3 of us.
A reminder: all posts remain private within the group (so are the Messenger communications indeed). However, the members of the group can be viewed publicly (by finding the group through the FB search box).
Looking forward to communicate with you guys and helping each other with the latest scientific data and personal experiences.
Will keep coming back here to see if there is other initiatives.

a) sleeping naked (at least no underwear/pants) and
b) changing your bedding to materials that are not soft/stimulating, I found that very soft/high thread cotton sheets and soft blankets make the problem happen more often
While sleeping naked does not always solve the problem it somehow makes it less painful, you might get more erections the first few nights but in the long run your body can get used to it. My best results have come from change/removal of clothing and bedding. Taking herbal tea before going to bed seems to slightly affect the quality of my sleep as well.

I created a FB group because I though it would be more convenient.
But I understand there might be privacy concerns.
Personnally, I'm comfortable with FB.
Since i'm no IT expert (and more specifically privacy issues), I'm well open to another platform. It's just that I don't know how to create one.
So, anybody, if you're willing to do so, I'll be glad to join it and assess further the utility of the FB group.
Also, sorry for my english. I try to be the more accurace and precise as I can be but it's my second language...
