in the past 5-6 months I've been getting very bad swollen, puss filled tonsils, and then sometimes shortly afterward I'll get big open sores on my labia(s, labii?). I am told that the two infections are not related, but the same thing happened once when i was about 11. They've tested me for every possible STD as well as strep for my throat, the STDs came up clean. The doctors usually do a rapid strep test for me which usually comes up negative and only once or twice has come up positive.
This happens every couple of months about a week before my period. Thus far no one has been able to figure out what's wrong and that my infections are unrelated to each other. But they work like a chain reaction:

My tonsils flare up, I get high fevers, and then i get vaginal legions.

And it works that way almost every single time.

Maybe there is a problem with my immune system?
