My 15 year old daughter, who's now 17 had her gal bladder removed; no stones, just underdeveloped; and she had chronic pains and diarrhea, which she still has. She comes home once a week sick from school and at least three times a week complains of pain and races to the bathroom.
After surgery she was given some powder to mix with liquids, but the doctor said to stop using after 1 year, not meant as a permanent solution.
Many times, she skips eating afraid of what will happen. We need some kind of relief as she is going to Europe for ten days during Easter break.

Thanks

I wonder if the powder that the doctor gave your daughter is psyllium. Psyllium powder is a very effective remedy for irritable bowel syndrome. I have been using psyllium powder for many years and it has worked very well for me. Alternatively, your daughter may consider carrying some otc anti-diarrhea medication with her to Europe.
