i just got circumcised on monday, it sucks as of right now. I'm all inflamed and my penis is all black and blue, it hurts and is very traumatizing. but when will i be able to masturbate? and now i am reading that masturbating is awful after this surgery. i am very scared and my urologist never told me about this
Hey there it Is not uncommon for there to be bruising around your penis as there are a lot of blood vessels thst need to heal Did your doctor give you anything for pain? As for masturbating. It can be painful and sensitive at first but over time that should resolve. How old are you ? Have you ever been able to pull your foreskin back over your glans?
The main reason Dr. Kellogg (the cornflakes guy) promoted circumcision of both boys and girls in the US was to prevent masturbation. It didn't stop people from doing it but it did take away a lot of the pleasure. For some reason it was not a big hit with mothers of girls but mothers of boys thought it was a great idea. Since you are big enough to write on a computer it is not a minor operation and there is bruising and a lot of healing to be done. Then you have to get used to living without a foreskin. Some guys find having their bare head touching everything is not too comfortable but they do get used to it out of necessity.
