I'm having a scar on my scalp fixed and have to go under anesthesia. I am planning on trying to get pregnant after the procedure is done. Does the anesthesia stay in a woman's system? Should I wait a while after he surgery before I try to get pregnant?
anaesthetic has a very short half life - which means that it does not stay in your system for very long at all!!!
people can have side effects after anaesthesia but they are usually short lived!
after you feel well again you should have no problems trying to get pregnant.
