i am 23 weeks pregnant and the doctor they just switched me to has told me i have a small cervix of 8.75 mm. Since i have been going there it has grown from 6mm because i was working and didnt have any idea this was happening. Recently she told me she wants me in the hospital for the next 4 months because she is concerned the baby is breech. At 23 weeks i have read that this is normal and that just being on strict bedrest is sufficient. There is no leaking of fluid or bleeding and i have not had any contractions. Is there really a need to be hospitalized?
