I am so concerned... I am 52 and I've been having all the symptoms of menopause.... I haven't had my period for over a year. Two weeks ago I had sex...Now I feel nauseated and some weird movements in my abdomen (like butterflies wondering around inside of me) and feels like I am getting a period any minute. It's been 2 weeks since I had intercourse. I haven't felt like this in years... Should I have a pregnancy test??? But when should I have one??? I haven't had a period over a year! Is it possible that I could be pregnant???

I think that without your period  and since you are 52 years old chances that you are pregnant are very slim but you can never be 100 % sure of something.

So it would be wise, firs, to head to the nearest pharmacy and buy homemade pregnancy test. If this one shows negative it doesn’t matter because it has been only 14 days since you had sexual intercourse.

After this schedule an appointment with your gynecologist and tell him all that you are experiencing. And don’t forget to mention that butterfly feeling because it could be significant to him. He can perform blood test and be 99 % sure are you pregnant or not. After zhis you can share your results with us. Good luck.
