I had my gallbladder removed on July 2, 2009 and unfortunatley I have to watch what I eat or else I get diahrrea. I have already been in the hospital for severe dehydration because of this. I have to avoid eating all greasy foods. The only good outcome is that I have lost weight. My recovery after the surgery was long and painfull. I honestly thought that I would never get rid of the pain but after five weeks I felt better.

I had my gallbladder taken out almost 3 weeks ago and I have the same problem. I have bowel movements but its like yellow water and it burns really bad. My doctor told me that if I am having this same problem in about a week then he will prescribe my a powder that I can mix with water and that should help. I can't eat greasy food or I thow up or have water diahrea. I cant drink soda or juices or anything. But I haven't lost any wait yet. I gained 35 pounds in 2 months after I came off my depo shot so now I'm trying to loose it all. I hope evrything gets better for you well actually us. lol XD

I had my GB removed 2-1-2013. This past week has been hell. Feels like I'm having an attack with no gallbladder. Pain in right side of back and right breast bone area. Today my doctor did a CT ,sonogram and blood work. Nothing so far. After listening to several of people complain of new side effects after removal they need to look at the way they remove GB effect a little closer. But we're head cases.
