I have been throwing up for over 3 months now. At first I thought it was because of a new birth control I was taking called Yaz. I had been switching birth controls for a couple months to find one that suited me well. Because I have endometriosis, it's hard to find one that helps. Two months in to taking the Yaz is when I started vomiting. When I started my period that month, I had major blood clots and was on my period for over 9 days. My doctor told me to quit taking the medicine immediately. I went to my family doctor and told her what was going on so she sent me to get some tests run. I got an ultra sounds done, some blood work, and the test where i had to drink that nasty chalky stuff. Anyway, they said that I wasn't pregnant and besides a few cysts on my kidneys I was just fine. That was 2 months ago and I am still vomiting. The only things I can really keep down are lunch meat sandwiches. Anything else makes me sick. Even strong smells make me sick after I have eaten. Also, I get light headed very easily. It gets to the point where sometimes I black out and end up sitting on the floor somehow. I don't sleep very well and my body aches A LOT. Especially my lower back (which I got an x-ray of during the other tests and besides minor scholiosis, it's fine too!). In the past few months, I went from being 125 pounds to 105, and I'm still losing weight. Last week, I could not stop puking. It just kept coming up. I ended up passing out on my floor (I have no idea for how long). When I woke up, I went to the school nurse (I'm in college) and she almost sent me to the hospital because I was so dehydrated. For some reason, my body doesn't stay hydrated very well. I do my best to drink between 6 and 8 waters a day.
Sometimes I think this is all in my head. Then again, when I throw up, it feels like it came out of nowhere. It's starting to get VERY frustrating. SOMEONE HELP ME ):

Hi,
How long have you been off the Yaz? Are you on any other medicines at all?
You really need to go back to your doctor. Tell them that you are passing out, this is not a good sign. The loss of weight is not good either. Have they run any blood tests? What were the results?
You are dehydrated because of the vomiting. Unfortunately the stomach acid is not doing your esophagus any good either. It can eventually burn a hole in it and then you'll have bleeding.
When you throw up, do you notice anything odd about it? An appearance of coffee grounds for example? That would be blood.
You can't risk passing out somewhere where you might get hurt or hurt someone else. Please go to your doctor immediately and tell them what is going on.
Good luck. Please post back later.

I have been off the Yaz for about 2 months now. They prescribed me to another birth control but I didn't want to take it because I was scared. So, I'm currently on no medications.
They did run blood tests. They said I was not pregnant and I that I was anemic. Besides that, nothing was wrong.
I don't notice anything weird when I throw up. It just looks like the food I've eaten.

And what about cysts on your kidney? Did your doctor told you anything about that? I'm not really sure that this can be related to your condition, but you need to get yourself to a hospital. They need to find something wrong with your body. Your puking issue can not occur just like that.
What about allergies? Are you allergic to some of medication, food or maybe something where you live? I really fill bad that I could not be of better help to you. I hope that you fill better as soon as possible.

Something is wrong if you're anemic. You don't have enough red blood cells in your blood. This is a serious issue and needs to be checked.
Anemia can be caused by blood loss. If you don't see bleeding then it could be internal bleeding. I'm not saying this is the only reason.
You need to get a second opinion. I would strongly suggest you go to the ER today. None of your symptoms are minor.
It could be an allergy. If you've been off of Yaz for two months though then I don't think that is the cause. Are you on other meds?
Good luck, keep us posted please.

My doctor told me that the cysts on my kidneys were somewhat normal and probably related to my endometriosis. She said that it was nothing to be worried about.
I've lived in the same building for about two years, so I don't think it would be allergies. Food allergies could be possible I guess. However, I've gotten sick on just about any meal. I'm okay if I eat small meals, like a sandwich or something. It's when I eat full meals that I get sick.
I am currently not taking any medications what-so-ever. In the beginning of this whole thing I thought it was from me switching to different birth controls.
Being that it's finals week at school, I am unable to see a doctor immediately. However, I have made a doctor's appt for next week at home. Thanks for the help. I appreciate it.

Another poster on the forums was mentioning having trouble eating full meals as well, and she mentioned that she had eating disorders that had shrunk her stomach down, so when she ate, it made her ill if she had too many calories at once. Maybe it's a good idea that you graze in the meantime? I would recommend like five or six small meals like how you eat, like having a sandwich here, a cup of soup there. Hopefully you find a resolution to this. Keep us posted on what it turns out to be!
I am 15 and have also lost weight from throwing up anything I eat. This has been going on for 41 days and counting. But I can also eat small things and keep those down. Sometimes I also throw up some of the drinks that I drink. I have been to the doctors 3 times, had blood taken twice (came back fine for h pylori and multiple other things), and had an endoscopic surgery (also came back fine). This is very frustrating an I just want some answers, I get horrible migraines and stomach pains mostly on the right side and the middle. I also have had random body aches such as in my thigh, back, etc. I haven't taken any Birth control pills, I have a regular period, i am still a virgin, and have been perfectly healthy until the first of September when this all started. Any help, please reply! Desperate! :/
