Recently whilst training in the gym we were doing tricep dips across two benches which included putting three weights on our legs and after a set of ten reps we removed one weight , when we were on our last set all the weights had be removed and i was on about my eigth dip when i suddenly felt a bang in the middle of my chest and since then find it hurts if i raise up my hands to the ceiling and if cough or sneeze its very painful also when i go to bed and lay down it hurts a lot. please can you advise what ive done and what can help it get better. thanks. ?
the same thing happened to me today. my dr. sent me for a chest xray and it seems i have actually cracked a rib near my sternum. 6 weeks to heal minimum. good times.
