Hi; I had surgery about a year and half ago,for a herniaed disc L5/S1.After surgery I went for therapy.I am still suffering from pulsating in both of my calfs. If can get some feed back I would really appreciate it Thank you Sue
I am no expert for sure but just curious if the "pulsating" is similar to what you had prior to the surgery? To me it possibly sounds like nerve pain. So it could be from the same area where you had surgery, or from a different level. Personally I would see my doctor again to have it evaluated.
Hi SwedishFish, Ididn't have the pulsating prior to surgery. I think its nerve damage from my surgery.

It very well could be related to the surgery. So I definitely would go back in to see your Dr. Does it happen at all times during the day? Constant? Intermittent? More at night?
