Is it true that drinking liquor can give someone a stomach infection, and it be treatable by using Doxylcycline?
I don’t think that alcohol can cause an infection directly. It could irritate the lining of the stomach and make this lining more open to the influence of stomach acids and cause gastritis but this is possible only after excessive drinking and nor recreational.

As for Doxycycline, it belong to a group of antibiotics called tetracycline and is most commonly used for threating chronic conditions like prostatitis, sinusitis, syphilis, pelvic inflammatory disease, acne and rosacea. Sometimes it may be used for stomach infection but I don’t think that correlation between alcohol and stomach infection is often if it happens at all.
