I am 38 weeks and I was wondering if its normal to have my cervix closed still? What could I do to start having my cervix soften and start dialating?

i no it's a frustrating time but you really do just have to relax and let your hormones do ther thing, my cervix was tightly closed with all 3 pregnancies even at the start of labour but as labour progressed i had 3 normal vaginal deliveries some cervix's just take their time ! and yes it is compleatly normal
