I'm 19 years old and have never had sex. I've tried, but it hurt pretty bad. I have an irregular period,  and have never worn tampons (can't get them in). I've been able to finger myself, but wasn't able to go very far in. When I was younger, the doctors said I haven't "opened up" all the way. I assume they were talking about my hymen? I've examined myself and I think I might have an imperforate hymen. I haven't gone to the gyno yet, but I am planning on doing so. But, I'm guessing I'll probably need a hymenectomy (from doing some research online). I really want it, but am a little nervous about getting it. I've never had surgery, or even an IV. Has anyone had this surgery before? I just want to know a little more about it; like if IVs hurt, or if you got to wear a gown during surgery, how recovery went... etc. Thanks!
Hi, all surgery have risks, I guess when you get married and have sex with your husband your hymen have break and the next time sex his penis go easily into your vagina. I guess you really no need a surgery. Many men likes so much get married with a virginal girl like you and break her hymen with his penis.  Congratulations for being a virgin.
