Hi All
If yr sweating at night, even if yr giving up, see a doctor. Night sweats can mean some other sh*t, maybe bad sh*t. Also it seems the medical profession is not at all understanding the full blown nature of pot and sweating. So take this to your doctor and wake the medical profession up to what is really happening.
Personally , as a 30 year smoker i never used to get sweats when i stopped, but of late, yes. I'm thinking its Hydro. Friends who smoke organic weed, grown under the sun don't get the sweats.
Can anyone concur?

This is correct. THE stays in the fat cells for a long time, but longer on your neurotransmitters, just like an opiate. Your fat cells will deplete it quicker but your NT''s could take even 2 years or longer as they have been hyper increased & some nerve endings may have been destroyed. But, with a proper diet & an awesome high B Vitamin Complex, your nerves can regenerate, for the most part. You still might want to think about eating just pure CBD edibles as that is what calms down the nervous system & helps with pain. Otherwise see your doctor about getting on an anti-tricyclic med to calm down the nervous system which will calm down the sweating. As for alternative, look for a complex with Valerian in it. Also Solaray has a "Nerve" complex. Research along all those lines. Good luck. Been there.

Hey there fellow human, how are you feeling nowadays?
It looks to me that you were as is a vulnerable soul in a rabid world, wounded as you've left yourself; yet I can state, as an experienced human that all your suffering comes from your lack of spiritual/intellectual education(this also reflects the people you surround yourself with). Moreover you were suffering the consequences of a very bad present time distribution, of priorities and ethics and a tremendous deal of emotional instability(which you can dominate and temper as you please by the way!). You have drifted to the very midst of ignorance and managed to convince yourself that quitting cannabis is far greater than quitting tobacco. Please now, if you are still using you better get as quick as you can into acquiring knowledge about the effects of THC, CBD and other secondary metabolites as such. Review your smoking routines and in case you're in for THC, get your weed strain straight af!.
I wish you all the goodies. Try to pause once in a while. Ease' up :D

I'm with you brother!. I'm 23 and I started smoking 5 years ago. When I quit for a short while(either money shortages or tolerance breaks) I pretty much can relate to every feeling you described. And it has hit me brother! We have been smoking get-to-buy weed for the most part and this is without a doubt grown under chemical nutrients and microbes! We need to pay really close attention to what we're smoking or get into a surface that tolerates weed fully.

It's more of an issue regarding yourself with marijuana and not the other way around. Be careful what you feed your mind with hombre. I have managed to educate myself both spiritually and mentally a tremendous deal! By smoking pot and being under it's effect. I now read, write, get out in nature, work and do all sorts of activities! My friend, it is a concern involving many emotional, cerebral functions. You can easily get overwhelmed and thus the apparition of the drowning. Stay strong, find yourself and set yourself free! Best of luck to you fellow human.

Ignore any advice to use strong anti-perspirants. What one does not want to do is interfere with the sweating process, which is expelling negative metabolites that have accrued in the body, over time, from cannabinoid build-up. Absolutely, do not suppress the sweating process, as it will force the toxins back into the body. What you should do is find a place where you can sweat more: via vigorous exercising, sweating in a steam bath or sauna, etc. Eventually, according to testimonies I've researched on the Internet, sweating goes away permanently. If you use cannabis again, you might have to go through this process again, so be aware of that. You have to weigh the values vs. the negatives to determine whether you wish to continue using cannabis. Each person has to decide for him or her self, apart from the politics of cannabis debates. Cannabis does have many valuable applications in the field of human health, but it also, like every herb, and every drug, have side-effects. Just to note: its side effects are much, much milder than Tylenol, Ibuprofen and many cold/flu remedies sold "over the counter."

Not good advice. Allow the sweating to occur until it's over.

Ive been smoking weed for the past 11 years, the first 5 years were just a couple of zoots a week but since I moved and started working from home Id start my days waking & baking and not stop until I fell asleep on the sofa. Say about an O a week.
Once a popular and outgoing person, I gradually I became a hermit as I didn't fancy going out at all and would rather just chill at home and smoke. Im now 33 and think its time to grow up and have a family of my own so need to get the THC out of my system. Problem is, Ive tried quitting but like everyone I just needed a hit to mellow me out. My husband is also a serious weed smoker too which didnt help.

We are both trying to stop and on Day 3 of going cold turkey. - And I have not stopped sweating, especially my palms which is really annoying! Ive also been getting really vivid dreams at night, totally lost my appetite and the worst part is the foul mood.
Im hoping this will stop soon and from what Ive read everyone is recommending exercise to sweat it out, so thats what I'll do.

I didn't think it would have this much of an effect on me. they say you cant be addicted to weed, but these physical withdrawal symptoms tell me that I was! Which tbh shocked me the most.

I now want to take back control of my life and not be dependent on anything to make me happy. Just naturally high!
Anyway, heres to Day 4!

Done it more than a dozen times ... and its aways like this sweat & sweat for min of 10-14 days changing t-shirts 10-15 times a day. Its the weed and in the way its grown ... high thc + chemicals ... most places you buy it of the street in the uk and others places around the world.
these people growing it ... tsss who knows what they do with it ...
This helps ... if you can get it with you doctor or any rehab / clinic
i wont start to debate how good is it & defend its use im just going to drop this here and who ever is smart enough to look into it without scepticism may benefit greatly.
If i am at home i will go without taking anything but not everybody has this luxury or the power & nerve. for the people that need to get the job done ...
this is a non addictive & supervised, i can vouch from own experience ( its super mild dont let the description scare you away ) originally i had it prescribed for a harder addiction but all it done was cure my chills & trills stopping sweats! the others like aches & pains are not really cover by it ... !!! and not at any moment did i feel anything ... dont make you high ... no side effects ... didn't feel the need to keep on taking once the problem passed and its only taken for 10 to 14 days slowly rising & decreasing in dosage with supervision. its really easy to get on it ...
it will stop the crazy sweats or bring them down to a min at least! like when your normal ...
im sure some heard of it before but not sure why nobody is talking about it ... anyways i hope this can smooth you're transition.
BTW...
weed was not like this when i was younger & was doing it the most ...
the 90s was the end of everything pure & cheap ( more expensive than gold we used to say once the crackdown began )

Yeah I have the same symptoms. Im more than assuming that the body is burning fat cells to get to the THC which is part of the sweating also your body is expelling toxins from you that are not wanted from the plant. You will have night sweats and wild dreams. It varies on how long youve smoked for and how much for the length of time for these symptoms to subside. Hope that helps.

Hello.
I was a everyday smoker. I felt my mind was becoming cloudy, short term memory was failing and I was very lazy. I QUIT! I am on day 5 . When I quit I decided I would also diet and start exercising. I wake up early and start my day on the treadmill for 45min (sweating alot) then move over to some easy free weight exercise.i drink ALOT of water.. i eat alot of chicken & chicken eggs n veggies.
The only physical side effect I have is cold sweats @night. I wake up after sleeping 6-7 hrs and my shirt is soaked. I am not having vivid dreams and can sleep a full 7hr.
I use to watch TV and fall asleep I now read books and fall asleep alot quicker.
During the day I feel energized and accomplished.
The sweating s simply your bodies way of fighting off the THC. You are getting better.
Stay focused stay strong!
I am 44 male 6'1 187lb. I am NOT anti-weed! I believe that I have abused it. I believe that if used correctly it can help many people with medical problems.
Stay strong!

Hey, I have been smoking weed since 13 and I'm now 26... I want to quit so bad I haven't had any for 2 days (maybe a bit last night but not much as usual) my legs are sweating and I'm irritated. I know I can do this. I just wanted to see other people's stories. I'm guessing the sweating is going to get worse by the days? I wish anyone all the best because to google this you must be serious about quitting like I am. Distract yourself with something different. I'm off to buy paint my numbers tomorrow :) I wish luck to whoever is reading this and you can do this!! Get that energy back and get things done. Good luck!! Xx
