This rashey issue was just brought to my attention today, for a second time in my entire life! Both times it apparently occured during my job interview but I didnt feel like my face was flushed or my chest. Is this normal? Is it something that can be developed as you get older? Im also wondeting if its a side effect of a new medication during netvous times? Im embarrassed!

Your issue is a serious one as it is not common to get rashey when you are nervous. consult a doctor before it become uncurable.

Hi there! I experience the same think and it's brought on my stress, nerves, alcohol or being upset. The only think that seemed to help me as strang as it sounds was losing weight and I keep a nice tan all year round. I started using an antihistamine everyday because I hear it helps. There are lots of people experiencing the same thing. Try and laugh it off, I just tell people my skin is sensitive to my feels :) I know it's awful~ helps me knowing I'm not the only one!

Do you take anything for this.. I get really bad when im speaking to somebody on phone like a doctor or administrator in college or when im in class sometime its so bad I get red blotches starting in the chest then it goes up my neck then face sometimes down my shoulders. my body starts to turn hot but then it will go away in like 44 mins and maybe come back. I feel like it use to happen when i starting drinking alcohol.. Iv been looking for cures i feel like nothing workss

My doctore put me on antihistamines that i had to take every day because it go so bad. When i had an appointment with my doctor i would be spotted like a leparard only in those areas,it got so embarassing. But i hated taking something every day! I rememberd they worked. The spots def. Werent as servere and red and if they did come on it would go away much quicker. I cant remember the name of it if you would like me to find out jusy reply and ill check. All i know is it made me tierd. I was on lexapro and colozopam for generallized anxiety and pannic disorder for 9 months im finally off that and spots came on the same as theynwere before medication, during and after if anyone has a cure i want to kno i can go out for a drink without looking like a weido

I had or maybe I am still having this condition too. I am saying that because I am in the process of discovering something.. Before a week I started drinking the ALOE VERA GEL, and so far I am seeing some improvements.. A few days now I am not having those terrible rashes, I see that they are less visible.. I drink less than the half of a normal glass in the morning before eating anything.. I hope this will help us, because I know that terrible feeling of the red blotches, and that's why I wanted to share this with you..

I have always dealer with the same symptoms ever since high school. I'm 30 now. I am a nurse practioner and my job requires me to talk to people all day. Sometimes if my day is slam packed with patients my anxiety spikes and Ill have this happen. But most of the time it is under control thanks to a medication called a beta blocker. They control heart rate and cause the vessels to relax. I do not flush or get blotchy very often any more. I'm actually on metoprolol but commonly used beta blockers are atenolol and propranolol or inderal LA. Hope this helps.
