hi there guys im only 14 and have never had sexual intercourse although i do masturbate. 2 days ago i woke up to find what looked like a spot/lump on my penis that was a pink color, when i squeezed it puss came out so i cleansed the area and squeezed out most (if not all) of the puss out. now today i woke up to found it had swelled up and it had an almost shiny surface, the head of the lump/spot what white when i tried to squeeze it. i quickly assumed there was puss inside so i took a sterilized needle and i poked a hole and then squeezed the puss out but this time there was also blood, so im back at stage one now, the lump/blister has returned to its normal size, if anyone has any suggestions i would love to know what it is and to know how to get rid of it.
just some key points:
-i am only 14 and i HAVEN'T had sexual intercourse
-the lump/blister does not give me any pain or discomfort unless i squeeze or press down on it
-if i do squeeze it then puss and blood come out of it
-i do masturbate, could it be im doing it to much or too hard and have broken some blood vessels?
thank you guys and i hope i can get this problem cleared up

Hey dude, im 23, and i had exactly the same thing u r describing for quite a few weeks, it was quite small and didn't caused any pain, i went to a urologist, but wasn't of much help, just gave me a few pills that didn't work. So afterwords i decided to go to a Dermatologist, and that same day, he burned it with some sort of laser or something, lol not sure what it was, it hurt a little bit, but nothing too bad and was real quick. Now about 2 weeks after that, its completely gone.
As it didn't hurt i thought it was going to disappear by itself, but it didn't. i know at your age its an embarrassing issue because u have to tell your parents. but if its the same thing i had, just go ahead and go to the doctor dude, will be gone before u know it ;-)
hope it helps mate!

i wouldn't worry now, its started to scab up so i think it may just be a mere pimple, ill wait a couple of weeks and if its not gone by then i will consider getting treatment
Well this is a very old post, but I will answer to help out future people. What you had is called a cyst. They are pretty common, and are caused by clogged sweat glands. If you shave too much, or dont clean there well enough, you will get more.
they arent a huge issue though. They're practically an oversized pimple. They usually wont go away on their own. They need to be drained (squeeze it gently every day, and keep it clean)
if they ever get too big that its causing you pain, the doctor will happily deal with it.
lots of people get them, and they can appear anywhere on your body. Dont worry. You arent becoming a zombie unfortunately c:
Thank you for your response this happened to me and you saved me a trip to the doctor. I did notify my parents and one of them is in medicine and agreed it was a cyst. Thank you.
Thank you so much! This is the first proper description I found of it and I was starting to get worried not knowing what it was. I will try the draining technique and see how it works out. Once again thank you!
Hi, I'm 13 and I've got the same problem, and I'm going to now try the draining technique and would you advise that I tell my parents about this cyst? And I know this is a old post but hey C: I did however start reading another post about something similar and someone mentioning hpv and I did get a little worried, but reading this post has put my mind at rest, but I do however have loads of tiny tiny tiny spots around the head of my penis, are these two things related ? Should I be worried?
Old post I know but just looking into a few things: those little tiny spots you have around the head of your penis (usually on the underside of the head) are called Pearly penile papules and are perfectly normal - leave them alone.
As for the draining of the cyst technique well... I wouldn't recommend it because by squeezing it daily in conjunction with hot compresses I actually irritated mine to the point where it spread and about tripled in size to a huge blister on the underside of my penis (which let me tell you guys, ain't so fun to do when you have "company" coming over). What i used which managed to shrink it down to practically nothing was a product called Sudocrem which is an antiseptic healing cream available here in the UK. But I imagine any antiseptic based cream will help, just check online for sudocrem and see what fits best for you in your location.
Be warned though if it is a cyst and you drain it, they can usually still come back in the same spot later in life so might be best to try the cream or just go to the doctors. You can do DIY, but you risk infection/irritation.
Hope this helps.
