I am looking for some comments! I have had a red lump on my knuckle (right hand) for a week now, and it looks quite bad. I don't know what it is, but I do know that I didn't fall or was injured in any other obvious way. Yet, this itchy red lump is there and it isn't showing any signs of getting smaller. I'd appreciate any thoughts.
Have you considered that this lump of yours might be an insect bite? I know that you normally notice when an insect stings or bites you but sometimes this is not the case. And some people have long lasting and very serious reactions, including itchy red lumps, to insect bites.
