It's so....so...unrelaxing or something. Plus, I constantly have to remind her to put it back to the channel we were watching.
My Dad is like that too. That's why I don't go over there anymore to watch Packer games.
Okay, so which one are you? friend? or enemy?
I'm with you but my wife feels the need to switch to the channel we are going to watch next about a minute or two before the program we're watching ends. When they go to a commercial and there is still a few minutes of program left. "Don't want to miss the start of the next one." So we miss the end of the one we were watching and see the end of a program we haven't been watching instead. I don't think I'll ever be able to reason her out of it, been like this for 50 years now.
Tel-e-vision? What is this new-fangled contraption?I believe you refer to it as the 'satan box'?
I used to be like Joy....I'm lightnin' thumbs during commercial breaks, then get hung up on some dumb show like "Cribs" and forget that I was watching something way back on network...it used to make my dad CRAZY. However, now that I live on my own and don't have cable, there's not much to flip TO, so I don't flip much anymore.
Well, I sometimes flip during a commercial, but I only do it to "check" if something else is coming on HBO, or like to see the score of a game or something.
Mrs. Coach, on the other hand, flips through the channels randomly, and is always stopping at something dumb (QVC, sorry Greg) and gets caught up in it, and by the time she gets back to where she started, it's almost commercial time again.
way to go, some husband you are
