Hi, was wondering how you are doing these days and if you have taken on any vitamin intake etc.... Dalith
Hi again,
since I live in Israel Im not really sure what a feed store is (I assume an animal store) if so, how do I know what exactly to buy. are you able to be more specific please.
thank you much
i understand there is a cure that the fda is shelving away from the public but here in africa it is taken by some people to be a curse
I hope FDA will consider Dr. Chows finding and help those people who are suffering from RP at the earliest. Help all those who are fearing to loose eyesight, FDA PLEASE CONSIDER RHEM KINDLY.
I myself was diagnosed in my early 20's after showing signs since I was quite little. I'm now in my early 50's and am now down to about 3 degrees peripheral. It is a pain in the rear but what can you do? I had cataract surgery which cleared up what vision I had left at 40. I have found that if I take Lutein 20mg daily my vision is quite clear. RP actually is an acronym for a Real Pisser. It is a tough disease.... to put it mildly. Best of luck to your brother.
I am 43 years old I have had the night blindness since I was about 15 and I have just now started with the tunnel vision. I have talked to many doctors and all they have come up with is to go to UCLA. I am asking if anyone has any other info that might be helpful please let me know. This is a very sad condition and I wish they did come up with a cure soon. For all of you that have it please hang in there and try to be strong and not give up. Mary
I'm 22 and also with RP, I was just wondering, with your type of condition, what sort of jobs were you able to do when you were younger? For example, if working at the counter affected you from not seeing customers on a side or something like that.
Also, tunnel vision, is it what they really say? The tunnel walla are really dark, very solid black or is it more like a blurry black still able to see but not as clear?
Sorry for asking you questions, just thought I'd be good to know what will happen to me, and hope you ll be able to help.
Hi i am in india is there any treatment in india?
Hi,
from what I understand what actually happens is that you just dont see at certain angles of your vision when looking straight forward..its not as if you see a black circle (as described in medical documentation explaining the condition).
This is a what I'm experiencing anyway. Its really strange because at most times Im on the impression that my eyesight is normal, but it turns out that its not.....bummer...
That's what i thought so too. When i saw the examples (the black tunnel) i was like... really... and right now what i see is kinda like a dark tunnel if im looking straight... just dark, not completely black. I always wondered if when i got older it would be completely black.
So you do see a a dark tunnel?
yes i do, I mean i can still see throught those tunnel walls but like it has a darker shade but looking straight ahead all good. I am 22 now so i do have this feeling it will get worse as i get older.
wow, that must be strange, Im not experiencing that so I didnt know. Im 48 years old and just recently was diagnosed.. have you been told to take vitamins? where are you located? I live in Israel?
i am in australia and i do take vitamins, it makes my eyes less tired.
