Hi, my friend is suffering from rheumatoid arthritis and he is 42 years old. Sometimes he feels better and sometimes don't. In the last few days he complained that he has pains all over his body. I would like to help him but I don't know how. He is using medications which his doctor prescribed him. If someone has idea how to help him I would be glad to hear.
Hi, I am also suffering from rheumatoid arthritis. I have also suffered from long lasting frequent arthritis flares. When my condition is worsening my doctor doubles dozes of anti inflammation medications and I use glucosamine sulfate too. This combination gave me pretty good results and my pains became easier. Also I am going on physical therapies when I don't feel the pain or at least it is not too strong.
Hello there thane,
It is so great that you are trying to help your friend although there is not much you can do. First of all, if he can’t stand the pain he will need to visit his doctor for additional dosage of the medications. But as you presume by yourself, this is only a temporary solution. And unfortunately there is no option to get rid of this pain once and for all.
The only thing your friend can do, and which can be really beneficial, is physical therapy or at least regular work out when he is not in that much pain.
You can join him in this activity and in this way you will contribute to your health as well.
