Endometriosis I have had the same symptoms for years!! Was constantly turned away from doctors saying I was either lying or just had IBS. Finally my new OBGYN did surgery and confirmed Endometriosis. This can be very hard for doctors to diagnose as scans cannot pick it up, it is only diagnosable through surgery. There is no cure but surgery, birth control good diet and exercise (not excessive) and heating pads help. I use a heating pad when I have flair ups and that has been my saving grace most of the time

I have been having low back ache, severe pain during sex, leg pains, and right side abdominal swelling. I'm late 4 days for the period and possibly around 4 weeks pregnant. Hot flushes are on and off. Is there a complication?

Hi, the lady that says she may have endometriosis. I have had endometriosis for 27 years now (not been fortunate to have kids). Your period can be early or late with lots of cramping and sharp pains. When it's late, my head is messed up with the negative tests it's like your body is playing a cruel game. I am currently 3 days late with sharp pains but negative tests.
