I am 15 years old and I have a mild scoliosis.
At first, I started to experience back pains concentrated on the lower right part of my back. I thought that my scoliosis could have just caused the pain.

Days went on, I also experienced abdominal pain.
It hurts at the upper part of my right pelvic area, just right in front of the back pain I am experiencing.

My right thigh also aches. The pain is from my inner thigh.
All three hurts at the same time.

I tried to do some research. Are these signs of some kidney problems?
Please help me.
Hi hon: I think you are sufering from Appenicitis. You need to get this checked out ASAP. Sometimes it is nothing, but that said if it bursts or becomes infected thats another story. I don't like frightening people, but teenage girls and pre teen girls are more prone too it. So get checked out OK. And let me know how it goes!!!

Hi there,
Greetings from Australia.

I'd done some researched on your conditions and I'd come out with 3 conclusions:

1) Scoliosis: The pain or discomforts which you might be experiencing may be due to the nerve 'pulling' caused by the 'curvature' of your spine. When this happens, it is known to cause pain to occur in the lower part of the body as well. Reduce ability to breath due to the 'misshape' of the ribcage is also possible..

2) "Pyelonephritis" (Bacterial infection of the kidney): Try bending forward slowly, if the 'back pain' (right side) worsen (personal experience), then it is most likely that you are suffering from 'kidney infection'.

3) Appendiciitis: Do you have continuous severe abdominal pain that has not been relieved by vomiting followed by fever? If this occur, DO NOT eat or drink anything until you have seen a Doctor. You may be sent to hospital for tests such as Ultrasound scanning. Laparoscopy may be carried out in some cases to determine the cause of the pain. If severe pain has been present for more than 4 hours, call an ambulance.

I hope that you're happy with my explanation regarding your conditions. Choose which of the 3 that closely match with your actual medical problems and get back at me as soon as you can.
