I have been on the medication Roxanol 30 mg for about a year now. This medication was given to me due to an injury. I have tried to not take them but the pain gets real bad. I just found out that I was 3 months pregnant. Well, I was always overweight and my period was sporadic so it was no surprise to me when I did not get my period for a few months.
I am very worried that this drug may injure my unborn child. I have been taking this everyday for about a year, 30 mg.
Roxanol is morphine, well form of it and babies born to mother who took narcotics should go into opiate withdrawal as I know. My mom is a nurse so I asked her about it. She said that you need to consult your obstetrician and he needs to consult with an addiction expert. This is serious situation.
