I have to admit that having a kid is not an easy task, not because the little one is always so energetic and cannot be still for a minute, but because of the constant illnesses he picks up at school. Is there some sort of rule for calculating a normal sed rate? I guess I don’t have to take him to the doctor for every little thing?
Well, usually when a lab test is done, you already have a sed value and the normal, desired values too. Although, it is known that sed rate tends to change with years, actually to increase. So, the easiest way to calculate desired, normal sed rate for someone is to divide his age with 2. If it is a woman, add 10 to the number of years. Simple, is it not?
