Hi, few weeks ago I have noticed some pimples on my penis. One was really big and bothered me a lot, so I have decided to squeeze it out. So I did. After the white stuff, some blood came out too. This didn't worry me so much, until three days ago when I have noticed that on the place where the pimple was, a scar has formed. Was I wrong to squeeze the pimple? Does this scar mean that the pimple was a sign of a sexually transmitted disease? What should I do now?

Hi, I would say you have made a mistake when you decided to squeeze the pimple. As you have seen for yourself you have only made the problem worse. The pimples on the penis are very common and when you popped it you have made it possible for the bacteria to spread. And as the pimples you mess with on the other part of the body can cause scars, so can the ones on the penis. These scars are hard to eliminate, so if you feel the urge to squeeze another pimple, resist it. Pimples are not a sign of sexually transmitted diseases, but if you should see an urologist, just in case. He will examine these pimples and, if necessary, order some additional tests. This way you will be properly diagnosed.
