It seems as everyone has issues but no one has answers here. I'd like to hear from someone who found out what was wrong?

I'm too having heavy bleeding that is persistent sometimes with huge clots or small. Then I get a break for a week or maybe 10 days then It starts spottinga again and it will then will start bleeding heavy.

I dont know if anyone else has tried but I can feel my cervix and theres a tiny hard bump near the opening. I've reseached to find this could be a polyp. Has anyone else been diagnosed with a cervical plolyp that was linked to heavy bleeding?

A bit about myself Im almost 30 never had children, not sexually active and overweight but working on losing weight in hopes this might help since I never had period problems when I was at a lower weight.

I have had a ultrasound done but haven't heard back about the results yet I also need to go get some blood work done.

This is really making me depressed I was thinking of starting to date again a few months before my period started getting worse but now I will refrain until I get some sort of normal period that I can predict coming. I can only imagine explaining the situations being in a relationship would cause when you have abonormal bleeding.

I'm praying for a solution for everyone and myself, no one should have to be bleeding this much and not knowing why or how to stop it. Our bodies should just work like clockworks. Well at least mine used to.

Wow this is an old post but I was glad to see I am not the only one that has this pain. Yes, I have those symptoms and more! I also bleed very heavy. At least you get medicated. The doctors I have seen won't give me anything for pain. They tell me to take ibuprophen or tylenol. I tell them I have to take at least 6 every 4 hours and that doesnt help that much, they say oh well. I have begged for a hysterectomy and was told no. I was offered birth control instead, which made things worse. My mother went through the same thing and told me it took her 12 years to find a doctor that would help her and that I just had to keep looking. I hope that you have found some help in the past four years. I'm still searching for an understanding that will either help me deal with the pain or get rid of the cause. I wish you the best.

I am so sorry about your horrible ordeal. I cannot believe there is someone with the exact symptoms as me. I cannot stand it any more and hardly feel like living. I was once bright, successful, accomplished with beauty and happiness. Now, I am fighting for my life. I am fighting to stay above water income wise. I had endometrial ablation now my bleeding is worse. The headaches are blinding and I itch and have constant fatigue. It is now not even like living. I have been brushed off by the specialists and told depressed and stop acting like crazy lady. Hello? This is so real. I have stopped trying to cope or go out. I fear for losing my ability to support myself and stay alive. I have just had another stint last night in another er waiting 7 hours to be seen. Oh, I was sent there by my obgyn who claims to be so concerned. She said baffled and I must be depressed. I am like well now, who would not be? This is overwhelming and my heart goes out to you. You are not alone and now I know I am not either. Thanks for just listening. I have somehow just given up hope.

My periods are extremely random. the last one was end of December 2013, and finally got it again April 25, 2014. i was spotting dark brown on and off until April 30th with tender and extremely erect breasts and now it is bright red and regular to heavy flow with mild to severe cramping.

I had unprotected sex on April 22 also. I took a pregnancy test on April 29. I know it was too early to actually tell if this is considered implantation bleeding, but made me feel somewhat better. Now that my period is bright red and flowing after so many days of dark brown spotting, i am wondering if this is normal?

Never been pregnant, 25 yrs old and at the point with Husband, if happens it happens.

You may have ulcers in your stomach and/or intestines. Ibuprofen is really hard on your stomach lining. Also, ibuprofen can cause abrasions inside of your intestines. The pain feels sharp and very strong. Almost like a Charlie horse in what feels like my heart. If I'm out and about or doing just about anything when one of my ulcers starts to hurt, I literally can't breathe and have to stop moving immediately. I take acid reducer and that helps most of the time

Only because you mentioned that it has been unbearable stomach cramps and not menstrual cramps; has the pain been on the right side of your abdomen or maybe even feels like it is dead center in your stomach? I was thinking it could possibly be related to your Gallbladder. I was having periodic extremely strong pain in my abdomen, sometimes radiating to the center of my lower back, and finding no position tolerable to be in. When these attacks would occur they would come on suddenly and i would often vomit uncontrollably. I literally could not lie down or sit up in any position and find relief from the pain. It would just eventually subside. These attacks lasted for a year before i was diagnosed with Gallstones. The first time it happened i thought i was having gas pain, and i tried to lie down on my stomach, with no relief. Then the vomiting began and turned into retching violently because there were no stomach contents to vomit up. The ER did an x-ray and found nothing. They told me it could be Gas pain, or Irritable bowel Syndrome, or an ulcer, but had no conclusive diagnosis. The attacks would come maybe once a month at random times. I couldn't pinpoint any particular cause, but sometimes noticed they occurred after eating something fatty. I was prescribed antispasmodics when the doctor was convinced it was IBS. If i took an anti-spasmodic the immediate second that i started to feel the first twinge of discomfort or possibly a gassy feeling about to start, it might allow the attack to pass. As the year progressed, the attacks were not calmed or prevented by antispasmodics or pain relievers, and it culminated into the WORST attack of stomach pain that i have ever experienced in my life! I vomited so severely and retched uncontrollably until i filled a small trash can with Bile-like fluid. I was writhing on the floor in complete misery. No position was able to relieve the pain, and i eventually wanted to shoot myself in the head with a gun (except i did not own a gun) , and i finally managed to call a friend to come take me to the ER again. That is when they did an ultrasound and discovered that i had 3 large Gallstones, and a bunch of gravel-like stones in my Gallbladder. The doctor told me that i would have to have my Gallbladder removed, and i couldn't have been any happier since. I would never have to experience that kind of pain ever again. So if you think your pain could be Gallbladder related, insist on an ultrasound. Especially if they think you might have IBS and antispasmodics aren't working.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one!!! The cramps literally feel like contractions. I'm nauseated daily but also get diarrhea. I was told 20yrs. Ago I had IBS but I believe this is definitely something else. The pain also travels the same as yours and I feel as tho I'm having a gallbladder attack even tho that was removed in 2013. I'm at my wits end. The Dr. Has no clue as I've been poked, proded, turned inside out and tested for everything. I noticed you posted this a year ago. Have they found or figures out anything yet?

If you're taking that many drugs it's no wonder you're having problems. Tell a doctor. Your liver, pancreas, kidneys, stomach, everything is at risk from all the Tylenol. Jeez.
