i wanna noe if any women get like these sharp shooting pains in the entrance part of the vagina.. i usually get them sometimes before my period or maybe in the middle of my cycle.. its like a little cramp it feels like its a sharp pain that comes about 3 or 4 times and just goes away..noting thats continues.. is it just cus im tender cus im so close to my dot?? and theres no sores or discarge around that area should i be concerned..??
My biggest question is have you had children?
I am basically going through that right now I have a 12 year old? Was looking on here to see if I could find any kind of solution

I assume that the pain you are feeling is called "knitting" it is like a stinging mutliple pain! Like you have little electric shocks! Knitting pain can happen when the nerve end are WIRED!!! It can be VERY painful, it is from blood coming to the area, and also sometimes irritation from sexual activity, tight underwear etc! It's NOTHING to worry about! MANY women get this! You have to really realize just how many nerves there are in your pelvis! And anything can set them off! Like sitting funny, the seam of jeans or pants, pantyliners, tampon fibres etc etc etc.
The reason why I asked about childbirht is that when a woman has a tear or an episiotomy the nerve endings are damaged and create this knitting sensation also!
When it happens try and breath through it! And try to write down when and if there was any reason around it! Just keep an eye on it that there isn't any discharge or irritation! IF your vagina is very dry, this will also be behind the pain! hope this helps! Good luck and health!
