I have had this since I was a little child. I am now a 42 year old male. In recent times I found out what it is.
It is caused by a: Urachal Abnormality.
It is a left over by the connection from the unbilical cord to the bladder. It can and should be fixed.

but i found something that might fix it, for me at least. i ate a couple tablespoons of baking soda and chugged some water, and the pain started going away. i had a coffee really late tonight and some chips before that (i don’t usually eat chips ever) so i was thinking maybe the pain was related to acidity or the junk food. the baking soda took like 5 mins to kick in and now i can move and flex my stomach without it feeling like there’s a string attaching my belly button to my vulva that someone pulled too tight!
tldr BAKING SODA!!! it helped me maybe it can help you too
