You obviously don't have the right doctor. American medicine sucks in general but I'd urge you to find someone who doesn't pooh-pooh your pain. No pain should be dismissed or go untreated.

I hope you get this, I have the same problem which is caused my Ehlers-danlos syndrome. It's a connective tissue disorder. My case is considered mild with dislocations but I have many of the other symptoms that Tage along with eds.

I am having similar results issues. I'm 17 and play water polo. Whenever I tread water / eggbeat, it feels as though my bine us stabbing the socket in my left hip, and there is extremely pain in the right one too.

Get an MRI you may need a hip replacement.
Same exact experience. The pain will get unbearable. Be sure to get a robotic replacement, if you need one. ALSO a VERY qualified DR.

I have this pain in middle of the night .it wakes me up. So intense! Only for few seconds. The worst pain I ever had.. definitely couldn't handle more than a few seconds probably would pass out. Never can prepare for it. Afraid to go to sleep. Wish I knew what this is! Would do anything to relieve it.

I keep having this stabbing pain as well it hits me and it last a few seconds and then comes back a few seconds later for about 5 min then it will go away for a while. I find it worse when i am sitting. It started in my right hip and after a while it went to the left now its in both but worse in the right. I also started getting the pain in the middle of my right thigh feels like its way in the bone. Ive been to the clinic 3 times now and they wont do anything for me. I asked for an x ray but they keep saying its soft tissue and to rub volteran on it and hope for the best. Im only 24.

Hi, I'm 15 and normally I don't visit these sites but I've got the same pain in my right side of my hip it's awful. I hate it and it's progressed down my thigh and it feels like it's pulsating. I've tried heat, ice, even elevating it but nothing's helping. Any ideas?? I have school and can't afford another doctors visit

I have it too. You either have bursitis, sciatica or a herniated disc in your l5 s1 or l4 disc area. Or both herniated disc and sciatica. I have both herniated disc in my l5 s1 with sciatica. Pretty much what happened is your herniated disc bulged and is pushing the sciatic nerve and causes inflammation of the hip down you leg and causes numbness and pain at different times in your foot. I've had to have two steroid injections up my spine and it didn't go away. Physical therapy made it worse. I went to a surgeon and he said my condition is at a point that I need surgery. I need a replacement and fusion of that area. Then 3 months of physical therapy to recover. He said by then the pain should be brought down to a 2 or 3. So my advice is go get a X-ray and Ct scan. Follow up with a spine specialist and go from there. I hope this helps.

I am in pain every day since July n doctors only want to gave me pills n want me to do physical therapy. I want to three doctors n had shots n nothing I put ice on me n rest my back n hip n right let it makes hard to work I cry because of the pain I am afraid of becoming paralyzed before n any one will help me I begged the surgeon to help me he doesn't feel I need it I told him.
