I've got sharp pains in both my sides now. I went doctors when it became really bad last year, I was unable to stand for very long or lean on my left side. I used cold patches, gel and the spray when it started to happen.

I finally went to the doctors and the first time they told me they wouldn't do anything since the pain wasn't there at the time!! Disgraceful!! When it came back, I went again and they tried to link it to my IBS which I've only known about for the last few months, but this was happening way before it. They gave me some pain killers (I think they where called zaraproxen) which helped a lot.

Sadly the pain is back now and in both sides!! I just don't know if I can count on my doctors since they might just give me pain killers again

Please please with cysts on the ovary get checked out
My daughter ignored them, had a baby and then had Ovarian cancer. I do NOT want to be a scare monger but please get checked fully.

I had about 2 years ago started pain in my chest so sore it hurt to touch my ribs. I would put heat on it then have fan to help on me. One day attack moved to my right hip socket felt like. It was worst pain I felt. Could not sit stand anything it was like being stabbed in my bone nonot stopped. Found pain meds from previous surgery took it nothing after 20 mins. Found another stronger med took that still 30 mins it hurt went to er. While waiting it went away pain. They didn't find anything. This past summer at work had another attack pain some bad I'm on burning up. This lasted about 30 mins. This week on my way home another attack this one different besides burning up from pain now my right hand last finger in losing feeling.then my right arm and 3 fingers as well same thing. I get to my mom house 30 min drive still in pain. Now I'm cold and my face feels like some one poured hot water on frozen face starting just under my eyes going down. Finally now 2 hrs my hip pain is getting less but still feeling off. Had another attack not as bad only sharp pain in my hips for 3 hrs this time.

Hi Matt, you posted over a year ago your hip pain described as crushed up glass. My daughter is experiencing this type of pain right now. Did you ever find out what it was? Do you have any recommendations you can share to eliminate/alleviate the pain? Thanks

Elher's Danlos Syndrome is extremely misdiagnosed where many doctors and health care providers have never heard of it. Understanding the disease will require more research and education.

I have the same stabbing pain, like an electric shock, in my right hip bone. Only lasts for a moment, but it is severe. You've been told that nothing is wrong? Well the pain is very real, that's for sure!

My pain is very similar, getting out of the car , putting on my shoes and pants I get a "stinging" pain in my right hip joint. I can walk for long distances without a problem .I am 52yrs old and this has been going on for 6-9 months. I've been hoping for it to just go away on it's own but I think I will have to make a Dr's appointment to be on the safe side

My son is 11 and is suffering with this. It came on suddenly on his left hip and could not walk because of the pain. Within two weeks it resolved after some "pops". Now his right hip, but it has been three months and no pops and no relief. I noticed his white blood cell count is low during this episode. Maybe a compromised immune system? Did you ever resolve your issue? Thanks
