My boyfriend has been complaining of shooting pains in his rectum and his left testicle througout the day. He says it comes in jolts and lasts a couple seconds. If you have any idea what it is, please let me know!
I have been experiencing the exact same thing for the last 7 days. It does'nt come very often but when it does its painful, like a trapped nerve!

I went to see the doctor about this pain. Like you say It comes like a lightening bolt. Sometimes after I have urinated but not always and sometimes after sex but it also comes during the day at any time also. I explained it was hard to pinpoint the exact location, it wasnt quite in the testicles but not all in the rectum. It makes me jolt, it makes me swear and grab my self and looks very painful from anothers view.
I was told on 2 occasions it is an involuntary spasm and is very common in most men. I would get checked if it lasts along time but I had last from 1 second to 1 hour before.
