I take suboxone and have for 5 years I just recently wanted to change careers and went for my dot physical and did not list it as a medication because I had asked my prescribing doctor should I put it on there and she advised me not to because of the stigma attached to it.So I passed physical and got a 2yr card and now I've had several job offers and most do urine and hair drug testing I feel guilty for not putting it on my med list but don't know what I should do I'm afraid if I go to a company and take their hair test that it will show up and I'll look like a complete fool.Should I ask the company if suboxone is allowed or just not say anything?This is driving me crazy because I know I can safely do the job and have no effects from the medicine and my doctor told me if I needed a note stating I was fine taking it she would prepare one.Could someone please give me some insight on this and if anybody knows what kinda hair drug test the larger trucking companies are using this day n time.Thanks to anyone who can give their advise.
