Hi, I prefer to work out on treadmill then to go running. But, I want to know if it is useful to waste time with cheap treadmill or not?

Hi, it is true that running is the best exercise but also treadmill can be useful in winter time. Many seniors prefer the treadmill, because they can hold on. But being over 60, means that your heart is not so strong anymore and it’s easier if you are holding on. Have you thought of the injury you are making to your joints, by this constant pressure? some older people have fear of losing balance on treadmill, but this is just a subjective feeling and not evidence based. If you are doing weight lifting, it means that your heart is strong enough and you don’t need any holding to the treadmill.
