I am suspecting that my child is having SI dysfunction. The two main symptoms I’ve noticed about him are unusually high or low activity level and obvious difficulty handling frustration. Please, I need some more possible signs of SI dysfunction to be sure. Thank you for any help. He is almost 10.

Well, if your child shows this behavior more dramatically then the kids of hid age, he has symptoms of SI dysfunction. Here is a list of some : over- or under sensitive to touch, sounds, sights, movement, tastes, or smells, bothered by certain clothing fabrics, seams, tags, waistbands, seems impulsive, with little or no self-control, speech-language, motor skill, or learning delays , seems impulsive, with little or no self-control, problems paying attention and staying focused, touches walls or furniture when walking….. Lots of kids show these signs for lots of reasons, but some of these behaviors are appropriate at certain ages. Most toddlers are pretty impulsive-that's the terrific but a 10-year-old who acts on every little impulse is a different story.
