I came across many mentions of goji berries being extremely healthy for the body, and have used them in cooking as well as tea several times now. I thought the goji berries was very tasty! But some people claim that goji berries have unexpected and negative side effects. Do you know anything about this?

I use goji berries as well not only in cooking but tea as well. I'm not aware of any negative side effects. they contain powerful antioxidants that combat oxidative stress (free radical formation). Boost energy levels and strengthen the immune system. I can't imagine any bad side effects. I suppose if you ate to much of them you might get diarrhea but that would be true of many fruits like prunes and plums. By the way, their good for you too. I would ignore anecdotal information simply because a good deal of the time it is wrong.
